Getting There
Car
From Hondoq Bay, head north on the main road (Triq Hondoq) towards the town of Qala. After approximately 2 km, turn left onto Triq Il-Wilga and continue straight until you reach the junction with Triq Il-Lunzjata. Turn right here and follow the road as it curves. Keep going straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Triq Il-Kanuni. Turn left at this intersection and follow the road for another 1.5 km. You will see signs for Xlendi Tower as you approach the area. The tower is located near the end of the road, where you will find a small parking area. Please note that parking may incur a small fee depending on the season and demand.
Public Transportation
From Hondoq Bay, take the local bus (Route 1) towards Victoria. The bus stop is located near the main entrance of the bay area. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Victoria' bus terminal. From there, you will need to transfer to a bus heading to Xlendi (Route 91). Board the bus, and after approximately 20 minutes, you will arrive at Xlendi. The bus stop is within walking distance of Xlendi Tower. Please check the local bus schedule for any updates and be aware that a small fare is required for each bus ride.
Walking
If you enjoy walking, you can take a scenic route from Hondoq Bay to Xlendi Tower. From Hondoq Bay, head north on the main road (Triq Hondoq) towards Qala. After about 2 km, follow the road signs towards Munxar. This route will take you through some beautiful countryside and coastal views. The total walking distance is approximately 5 km and takes around 1.5 hours. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and bring water!
