Pjazza Teatru Rjal: The Heart of Cultural Valletta

Getting There

• Public Bus

  From Marsa, head to the nearest bus stop that services the local routes. Look for the bus stop named 'Marsa, Il-Linja' or 'Marsa, Kunsill Lokali'. Take bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminus, follow the signs to the city center. Walk straight along Triq Ir-Repubblika for about 10 minutes until you reach Pjazza Teatru Rjal, located on your right.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk, start at the center of Marsa, near the Marsa Sports Club. Head north on Triq il-Labour and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Triq San Tumas, then follow the road until you reach the next intersection. Turn right onto Triq il-Kbira and follow it until you reach the coast. From there, continue walking towards Valletta along the promenade. This scenic route will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and offers beautiful views of the harbor.

• Taxi

  You can also take a taxi from Marsa to Valletta for a quick and comfortable journey. Simply find a taxi stand in Marsa or call a local taxi service. The drive will take around 15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to tell the driver to drop you off at Pjazza Teatru Rjal located on Triq Ir-Repubblika, Valletta.
