Getting There

  • Walking

    Start your journey from the center of Marsalforn. Head east along the seafront promenade, enjoying the view of the bay. Continue straight until you reach the main road (Triq il-Lwien). Turn left onto Triq il-Lwien and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq San Pawl. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers, passing by residential areas and local shops. Eventually, you will arrive at the intersection with Triq il-Knisja. Turn left onto Triq il-Knisja and continue straight for another 500 meters until you see a sign for the Salt Pans on your right. Follow the path leading to the Salt Pans, where you can explore the unique salt harvesting area.

    From Marsalforn, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the main road (Triq il-Lwien). Catch the bus heading towards Żebbuġ. Ensure to check the bus schedule for the most accurate timing. After approximately 15 minutes of travel, disembark at the Żebbuġ stop. From there, walk down Triq il-Knisja for about 500 meters, and you will see the Salt Pans sign on your left.
