Walking
From the centre of Marsaskala, start by walking towards the Marsaskala Bay promenade. Follow the promenade along the coast, enjoying the views of the sea. Keep walking until you reach the end of the promenade, which will lead you to Triq il-Luzzu. Turn left onto Triq il-Luzzu and continue straight until you reach the junction with Triq il-Kbira. Turn right onto Triq il-Kbira. After a short walk, you will see signs directing you towards Birgu. Follow the signs and walk towards Birgu, which will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once in Birgu, continue straight until you approach Xatt l-Assedju l-Kbir, where the Malta Maritime Museum is located.

From the central bus stop in Marsaskala, take bus number 81 or 84 towards Valletta. The journey will take about 25 minutes. Disembark at the bus stop 'Valletta - City Gate.' From there, transfer to bus number 1 or 2 towards Birgu. The bus ride to Birgu will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Birgu, head towards Xatt l-Assedju l-Kbir, where the Malta Maritime Museum is situated. It is a short walk from the bus stop.
