Start at the Mdina Gate, the main entrance to the ancient city of Mdina. From the gate, head straight down Triq Villegaignon. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Triq San Pawl. Turn right onto Triq San Pawl and follow this road. After a short distance, you will reach a bus stop on your left, known as 'San Pawl'. Here, you can catch a bus to Ta' Qali. Take bus number 81 or 82, which will take you directly towards Ta' Qali Picnic Area.

Once you board the bus at the San Pawl stop, sit back and enjoy the ride. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye out for the 'Ta' Qali' stop, which is your destination. When the bus stops, disembark and follow the signs leading to Ta' Qali Picnic Area. The picnic area is a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the path leading into the park.

Upon getting off the bus at the Ta' Qali stop, head towards the large green area visible in front of you. Follow the pathways into the park, and you will soon arrive at the Ta' Qali Picnic Area, where you can find plenty of shaded spots and picnic tables to enjoy your time.
