Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Mellieha Bay. Head north on Triq il-Marfa (Marfa Road) for about 1.5 kilometers. Once you reach the roundabout, take the first exit to stay on Triq il-Marfa. Continue straight for another 500 meters until you reach a left turn onto Triq Selmun. Follow Triq Selmun for approximately 1 kilometer, and you will see the Punic Tombs located at '6 Selmun'. There is limited parking available nearby, so plan accordingly.
Public Transportation
To reach the Punic Tombs using public transportation, you can take bus number 41 or 49 from the main bus terminal in Mellieha Bay. These buses typically run every 30 minutes. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Selmun, which is about a 10-minute ride. Once you disembark, walk about 500 meters south on Triq Selmun, and you will arrive at the Punic Tombs at '6 Selmun'. Be sure to check the local bus schedule for any potential delays or changes in service.
Walking
If you prefer to walk to the Punic Tombs and are already in Mellieha Bay, you can start from the beach area. Head north along the coastal path towards Triq il-Marfa. Once you reach the main road, turn left and walk along Triq il-Marfa for about 1.5 kilometers until you arrive at the roundabout. From there, take the first exit towards Triq Selmun and continue walking for another kilometer until you reach the Punic Tombs. This walk is scenic but be prepared for some uphill sections.
