Getting There

    If you are in the heart of Mellieha, start by heading towards the Mellieha Bay area. From the Mellieha Parish Church, walk down the main road (Triq Il-Kbira) towards the coast. Keep walking straight until you reach the roundabout at the end of the bay. Here, take the second exit onto Triq Il-Marfa. Continue along this road for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass by several hotels and the beautiful views of the bay. Eventually, you will reach a small dirt road on your left that leads to the coast. Follow this path, and you will see the P31 Wreck in the water to your right, just off the shore.

    To get to the P31 Wreck using public transport, you can take bus number 41 or 42 from the Mellieha bus terminal. Board the bus heading towards Cirkewwa. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Marfa bus stop. From there, follow the signs toward the beach. Walk along the pathway that leads to the Marfa beach area. The P31 Wreck can be viewed from the shoreline, so keep walking until you reach the water's edge and look out towards the wreck.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from any of the local rental shops in Mellieha. Start your journey from the Mellieha Bay area, cycling along the Triq Il-Kbira road towards the coast. After passing through the roundabout, turn onto Triq Il-Marfa. Keep pedaling for about 2 kilometers until you reach the dirt path leading to the beach. You can park your bicycle safely along the pathway and walk to the shore to view the P31 Wreck.
