From the center of Mgarr, head towards the Mgarr parish church. Once you reach the church, exit the square and follow the main road (Triq Sant' Antnin) heading south. Continue straight until you reach the end of the road, then take a left onto Triq Il-Wardija. Follow this road until you see signs for Il-Barumbara. The hiking area is located a short walk from the road.
