Walking
From the center of Mgarr, head towards the Mgarr Harbour. As you reach the waterfront, look for the bus stop across from the ferry terminal. Take bus number 120 towards Nadur. The journey should take about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Nadur' bus stop. Once you exit the bus, turn left and walk along the main road (Triq il-Knisja). Continue straight until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right path (Triq ta' Bormla) and follow the signs for the Tal-Mixta Cave. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the entrance of Tal-Mixta Cave.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Mgarr. Start your journey by heading towards Mgarr Harbour and look for the cycling paths that lead towards Nadur. Follow signs for Nadur, which is about 5 km away. The route is scenic and will take you through the countryside. Once you reach Nadur, locate the sign for Tal-Mixta Cave and follow the pathway that leads to the cave entrance.
