Car
From any location in Northern Region, take the main road towards Valletta. Continue on the main road until you reach the signs for Birgu (Vittoriosa). Follow the signs, and once you arrive in Birgu, head towards the waterfront area. Fort St. Angelo is located directly on the waterfront, and you can find parking nearby. Please note that parking may incur a fee, varying from €1 to €2 per hour depending on the location.
Public Transportation - Bus
If you prefer using public transport, take the bus from various towns in the Northern Region to Valletta. Once in Valletta, transfer to bus number 81 or 82, which will take you to Birgu. After disembarking at the Birgu stop, walk towards the waterfront area where Fort St. Angelo is located. The bus fare is approximately €1.50 and tickets can be purchased on board.
Walking
If you are staying in Birgu or nearby, you can easily walk to Fort St. Angelo. There are clear signs leading to the fort from various points in the town. The walk is pleasant, as it takes you along the waterfront, offering beautiful views of the harbor. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as some paths may be uneven.

You can book a taxi through a local taxi service or use a ride-sharing app. The taxi will take you directly to Fort St. Angelo from your location in the Northern Region. The fare will depend on your exact starting point, but it typically ranges from €15 to €25.
