Car
If you're traveling by car, start by driving to the town of St. Lawrence in the Northern Region. From Valletta, take the main road (Route 1) towards the north. After about 30 minutes, take the exit towards Rabat and continue on to St. Lawrence. Once in St. Lawrence, follow local signs to Fungus Rock. The destination coordinates are approximately 36.0468565 latitude and 14.188376 longitude. There is limited parking available near the entrance to the area.
Public Transportation
To reach Fungus Rock using public transport, take bus number 202 from Valletta Bus Station towards Victoria. This journey will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Get off at the stop for St. Lawrence. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the entrance of Fungus Rock. Follow the signs towards the coast, and you’ll find the rock in the bay. Be sure to check the Malta Public Transport website for the latest bus schedules and routes.
Walking
Once you arrive in St. Lawrence, if you're on foot, you can walk to Fungus Rock from the main town area. Head towards the coast, following the local paths and signs. The walk takes approximately 15 minutes. Be prepared for some uneven terrain as you approach the rock, so wear suitable footwear.
