Bus
From Paola, head to the nearest bus stop located on the main road, Triq il-Kbira. You can catch the bus number 81, 82, or 83 towards Valletta. The journey will take around 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminal, exit the terminal and walk straight towards the main entrance of Valletta. Continue walking along Republic Street, and you will reach City Gate within 5 minutes.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start at the Paola Square. Head towards Triq il-Kbira and turn right. Walk straight until you reach the end of the street, then turn left onto Triq il-Wied. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then turn right onto Triq il-Lvant. Follow this road as it leads directly to Valletta. Once in Valletta, follow the signs to Republic Street, where City Gate is located. The total walking time is approximately 45 minutes.
