Walking
From the central area of Paola, head towards the main street, Vjal Indipendenza. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq il-Kbira. Continue walking straight until you reach the next roundabout. From there, take the third exit onto Triq il-Linja. Follow this road until you reach the bus station in Valletta. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus station, exit and walk towards the main entrance of the city gates. Continue walking down the main street, Republic Street, until you reach the Lower Barrakka Gardens, which will be on your left.
Public Transport
From Paola, find the nearest bus stop on Vjal Indipendenza and take the bus number 81, 82, or 133 towards Valletta. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Valletta bus station. After exiting the bus, walk towards the main entrance of the city gates. From there, proceed down Republic Street and take a left to reach the Lower Barrakka Gardens.
