Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Paola, start at the Paola Square (Pjazza Paola). Head east on Triq San Ġużepp for about 300 meters until you reach the main road, Triq il-Kbira. Turn left onto Triq il-Kbira and continue straight for another 400 meters. You will pass by the Paola Parish Church on your right. At the traffic lights, continue straight onto Triq Sarria. After approximately 500 meters, you will see the Independence Monument on your left, situated within a small garden area.

  • Bus

    From the Paola Bus Terminal, take bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. Stay on the bus for approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the Floriana stop, which is one of the stops just before Valletta. Once you exit the bus, walk back towards the roundabout, and take the first exit onto Triq Sarria. Walk for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Independence Monument on your right.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Paola and head towards Triq il-Kbira. Follow the same route as if walking, but you can cycle along the road. Once you reach Triq Sarria, continue cycling for about 500 meters. The Independence Monument will be on your left, and you can park your bicycle at designated parking areas nearby.
