Getting There

Walking
Start from the Sliema Promenade, which runs along the coast. Walk towards the direction of the Fortina Hotel. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the ferry terminal. From there, take the ferry to Valletta, which should take around 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta ferry terminal, exit and follow the signs towards the city center. Walk straight towards Republic Street, the main thoroughfare in Valletta. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with St. John's Street. Turn right onto St. John's Street and then take a left onto Sappers Street. Continue walking for about 5 minutes, and you will find Ġnien Hastings at number 24 Sappers on your left.

Public Bus
From Sliema, head to the nearest bus stop, which is usually located near the Sliema Ferries. Look for buses heading to Valletta. The bus number 13 or 14 will take you to Valletta. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminal, exit and head towards the city center. Walk straight to Republic Street, the main street of Valletta. Continue straight until you reach St. John's Street. Turn right on St. John's Street, and then take a left onto Sappers Street. Walk for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Ġnien Hastings at number 24 Sappers on your left.

Taxi/Private Hire
If you prefer not to walk or use public transport, you can take a taxi or a private hire service from Sliema to Valletta. You can easily find taxis near the Sliema Promenade or book one through an app. The drive should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach Valletta, ask the driver to drop you off at 24 Sappers, Il-Belt Valletta, which is where Ġnien Hastings is located.
