Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Sliema Ferries terminal, which is a popular area for tourists. Head towards the main road, Triq it-TGIEB, and walk along the coastline towards the direction of Valletta. Continue straight until you reach the end of the promenade, where you will see a bus stop. From here, you can catch a bus to Valletta (Bus 133 or 134). Get off at the last stop in Valletta. Once in Valletta, follow the signs towards the ferry terminal and then continue walking towards the Lower Barracca Gardens. After the gardens, make your way through the streets towards Birgu. You will eventually reach Triq il-Mina, l-Kbira where the Inquisitor's Palace is located.

  • Bus

    From Sliema, walk to the nearest bus stop on Triq It-Tigrija (the main road). Take the bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. Once you arrive at the Valletta Bus Terminal, transfer to Bus 1 or Bus 2, which will take you to Birgu. Get off at the bus stop close to the Birgu waterfront and walk along the promenade until you reach Triq il-Mina, l-Kbira. The Inquisitor's Palace will be on your right.

    Walk to the Sliema Ferries terminal and take the ferry to Valletta. After getting off the ferry, follow the signs leading towards the main road, and head towards the bus terminal. Once you reach the bus terminal, take Bus 1 or Bus 2 towards Birgu. After disembarking at Birgu, walk along the waterfront, then turn into Triq il-Mina, l-Kbira, where you will find the Inquisitor's Palace.
