From Sliema, walk to the Sliema Ferries terminal, which is located along the waterfront promenade. Look for the signs directing you to the ferry service to Valletta. Purchase a ticket from the kiosk or the ferry operator. Once on the ferry, enjoy the short ride across the harbor to Valletta. Upon arriving at the Valletta ferry terminal, exit the terminal and head towards the main street.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Sliema, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take the bus route 61 or 62 towards Valletta. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. When you arrive at the Valletta bus terminal, exit and follow the signs to the Valletta Waterfront. Look for signs indicating the direction to Birgu; you can walk or take a local bus (route 3) that will take you to Birgu. Make sure to get off at the nearest stop to Annunciation Church.

From the Valletta ferry terminal, you can walk to Birgu. Head south along the waterfront promenade until you reach the main road. Turn left onto Triq il-Lanca and then continue straight until you reach the historic streets of Birgu.
