If you're traveling by car, head towards Kalkara. From Valletta, take the road towards the South Eastern Region, following the signs for the Sliema Road (Triq Sliema). Continue onto the Triq ix-Xatt until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Triq il-Kalkara. Follow this road straight, and you will see signs for Fort Rinella. There is parking available near the fort, but be aware that it may incur a small fee depending on the time of year.

For those using public transportation, start by taking bus number 81 or 82 from Valletta Bus Station. These buses head towards Birżebbuġa and will stop at various points in the South Eastern Region. You should disembark at the 'Kalkara' bus stop, which is the closest to Fort Rinella. Once you get off the bus, walk in the direction of the waterfront and follow the signs for Fort Rinella, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. The bus fare is approximately €1.50 for a single journey.
