Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the Southern Harbour area and navigate towards the main road, Triq il-Labour. Follow this road until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Triq il-Kbira. Continue driving straight until you reach another roundabout. At this roundabout, take the first exit onto Triq Sant' Antnin. After approximately 1 kilometer, turn left onto Triq Gorg Borg Olivier, which will lead you towards Mġarr ix-Xini. Follow the road signs directing you to the beach area. There is limited parking near the beach, so be sure to look for available spots. Note that parking may incur a small fee.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Mġarr ix-Xini via public transportation, start by finding the nearest bus stop in Southern Harbour. Look for buses that head towards Mgarr or Xlendi, specifically the bus numbers 61 or 63. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the Mgarr terminus. From there, you will need to walk approximately 20 minutes towards Mġarr ix-Xini. Exit the bus, head towards Triq il-Kbira, and then turn onto Triq Gorg Borg Olivier which will take you directly to the beach area. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the return trip as service may be limited in the evening.
