Car
If you are driving, head towards Mellieħa by following the signs on the main roads. From Valletta, take the route via the M1 highway. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach a roundabout. Take the second exit towards Mellieħa. Continue straight until you see signs for Blata il-Bajda. There is parking available near the hiking area, but be mindful of parking regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach Blata il-Bajda using public transportation, take Bus Route 41 or 42 from Valletta to Mellieħa. The journey will take around 60-70 minutes. Once in Mellieħa, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Blata il-Bajda. The walk will take about 20-30 minutes. Walking from Mellieħa Bus Terminal
After arriving at the Mellieħa bus terminal, head north along Triq il-Knisja. Continue straight until you reach Triq il-Lunzjata. Turn left onto Triq il-Lunzjata and follow the road until you reach the entrance to Blata il-Bajda. This is a scenic route, so take your time and enjoy the views along the way.
