Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Birgu. From Valletta, take the road towards the southern region, following signs to Marsa. Merge onto Triq Sant'Anna (A2) and continue until you reach Birgu. Upon entering Birgu, follow the signs to Fort St. Angelo, which is located on the waterfront. There is limited parking available nearby, and you may need to pay for parking depending on the duration of your visit. Be mindful of the parking signs.
Public Transportation
To reach Fort St. Angelo via public transport, take a bus from Valletta to Birgu. The bus numbers 81, 82, or 85 will take you to Birgu. Once you arrive at the Birgu bus terminal, it is a short walk to the waterfront where Fort St. Angelo is located. Follow the signs towards the waterfront, and you'll see the fort. The bus ride costs around €1.50 for a single journey.
Walking
If you are already in Birgu, you can easily walk to Fort St. Angelo. From the main square, head towards the waterfront. The fort is situated directly on the water and is clearly visible. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes and provides stunning views of the harbor along the way.
