Walking
If you are in the central area of St. Julian's, head towards the seafront promenade known as the 'Sliema to St. Julian's promenade'. Walk towards Sliema until you reach the end of the promenade where it meets the Gżira area. Continue walking along the promenade until you pass by the Tigne Point shopping complex. Keep walking along the coastline until you see the road leading to Manoel Island. Cross the road and follow the signs to Fort Manoel, which is located on the island.
Bus
From any point in St. Julian's, locate the nearest bus stop, typically along the main roads. Take bus number 13 or 14 towards Valletta. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the stop for Gżira. Once you alight, head towards the waterfront and walk along the promenade until you see the signs pointing towards Manoel Island. Follow the signs and cross the road to access the island.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or a rideshare service like Bolt or eCabs. Simply provide the driver with the destination 'Fort Manoel, Manoel Island, Gżira'. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the fort, making it a convenient option if you have heavy luggage or prefer not to walk.
