From St. Julian's, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main road near the Hilton Hotel. Take bus number 22 or 23 towards Valletta. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Valletta Terminus. Once you arrive, walk towards the city center, following signs for Old Treasury Street. The National Library of Malta is located at 36 Old Treasury Street, just a short 5-minute walk from the terminus.

If you prefer to walk, start from the Spinola Bay area in St. Julian's. Head towards the main road (Triq Sant'Andrija) and turn left. Continue walking straight until you reach the roundabout at the end of the bay. From the roundabout, take the road leading to Sliema, and then follow the signs towards Valletta.
