Getting There

  • Bus

    From St. Julian's, head to the nearest bus stop located on Triq il-Kavallerizza or Triq San Ġorġ. You can catch bus number 13 or 14 towards Valletta. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminus, you will find yourself close to the city gates. From there, you can easily walk into the historic center of Valletta.

  • Ferry

    Head to the Sliema ferry terminal, which is about a 20-minute walk from St. Julian's along the coastline. Once you reach the terminal, you can take the ferry to Valletta. The ferry ride offers stunning views of the Grand Harbour and takes approximately 15 minutes. After disembarking at the Valletta ferry terminal, follow the signs to the city center which is just a short walk away.

    If you enjoy walking, you can take a scenic route from St. Julian's to Valletta. Start at the shoreline and walk towards Sliema, following the promenade. Once you reach Sliema, continue along the coast until you reach the Valletta ferry terminal. Alternatively, you can walk directly up from St. Julian's through Pembroke and into Valletta. The entire walk is roughly 1.5 hours, depending on your pace, and offers beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea.
