Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Tarxien Temples, head north towards Triq il-Knisja and continue straight. After about 500 meters, you'll reach the main road, Triq il-Linja. Turn right and follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Triq San Lucjan. Continue straight onto Triq Sant'Anna until you enter Valletta. Once you reach the city gate, walk through the entrance and head straight, following the signs to Republic Street. St. George’s Square will be on your left after a short walk.

    From Tarxien, walk to the nearest bus stop on Triq il-Linja and catch bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. The journey will take around 15-20 minutes. Alight at the Valletta terminus. From there, walk towards Republic Street, which is just a short distance away. St. George’s Square will be located on your left side.
