Car
If you are driving, start from the Tas-Silġ Area and head north on Triq il-Knisja towards Triq Sant' Antnin. Continue on this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq il-Labour. Follow this road for another 1 kilometer, and you will reach another roundabout. Take the first exit onto Triq il-Marsa and continue straight until you reach the Birgu area. The Freedom Day Monument will be on your left at VGPC+VC3, Birgu. There is limited parking available in the vicinity, so be prepared to park a bit further away and walk.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take bus number 81 or 85 from the Tas-Silġ Area to the Valletta bus terminal. The journey should take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Valletta, transfer to bus number 3 or 4 which will take you directly to Birgu. The bus ride from Valletta to Birgu takes about 20 minutes. After you disembark at the Birgu bus stop, walk towards the waterfront, and the Freedom Day Monument will be a short walk away, located at VGPC+VC3. Be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time as they may vary.
