Car
If you are driving from the Tas-Silġ area, head north on Triq Tas-Silġ towards Triq Il-Pitkalija. Turn right onto Triq Il-Kbira and continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the end of the road. Take the second exit onto Triq Il-Kbira (Birkirkara Road) and follow the signs towards Valletta. Once you enter Valletta, look for parking options near the city gates. The nearest parking is at the Valletta Waterfront or near the Triton Fountain. After parking, walk to the Saluting Battery which is located at Battery Street, Valletta VLT 1221. It is a short 15-minute walk from the parking area.
Public Transportation
To reach Saluting Battery via public transportation, you can take the bus from Tas-Silġ to Valletta. Board the bus route 81 or 84 from the nearest bus stop to your location. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminus, exit the bus and head towards the city center. Follow signs to the Saluting Battery, which is about a 10-minute walk uphill from the bus terminus. You will pass through the main streets of Valletta, enjoying the architecture along the way.
