Car
If you are traveling by car from Tas-Silġ Area to St. John's Co-Cathedral, start by heading northwest on Triq il-Kbira towards Triq il-Madonna tal-Karmnu. Continue on this road until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Triq il-Luzzu and follow it to the signs for Valletta. Once you enter Valletta, you will find street parking options nearby, but be aware that parking can be limited. The cathedral is located at Triq San Gwann, Il-Belt Valletta. It's advisable to check for parking fees, which usually range from €1 to €2 per hour.
Public Transport - Bus
To reach St. John's Co-Cathedral using public transport, take the bus from Tas-Silġ Area. You can board the bus from the nearest bus stop, usually located along Triq il-Kbira. Look for buses heading to Valletta; common routes include 81, 82, and 133. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at the Valletta bus terminal, exit and walk towards the city center. Follow the signs leading to St. John's Co-Cathedral, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus terminal. There is a bus fare of around €1.50, and ensure you have the correct change or a bus card.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Valletta, you can walk to St. John's Co-Cathedral. From the nearest bus stop in Valletta, head east along Triq San Gwann. The cathedral is located at the end of this street. The walk should take you around 10 minutes. The area is pedestrian-friendly, with plenty of shops and cafes along the way, making it a pleasant stroll.
