If you are traveling by car, you can set your GPS to the coordinates 35.88595, 14.52274. From the center of Birgu, head towards the waterfront and follow the signs for the historic sites. The Gate of Provence is located close to the entrance of the scenic area of Vittoriosa, adjacent to the waterfront promenade. Parking may be available nearby, but be aware that some areas may require a fee.

Public Transportation
To reach the Gate of Provence using public transportation, you can take a bus from Valletta. Board the bus number 12 or 13 towards Cospicua. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Cospicua bus terminus, you can either walk (about 15 minutes) to Gate of Provence by heading towards Birgu, or you can take a short taxi ride for around €5. As you walk, follow the signs toward the waterfront until you arrive at the historical landmark.

If you are already in Birgu and wish to walk to the Gate of Provence, simply start from the main square in Birgu (Pjazza San Duminku). Head towards the waterfront and follow the promenade along the water. The Gate of Provence is approximately a 10-minute walk from the square, with beautiful views along the way. Look for signage directing you to notable landmarks as you approach the Gate.
