Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Vittoriosa (Birgu). Take the road towards Senglea (Isla). Follow the signs for Senglea and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq Sant' Anna. After approximately 300 meters, turn left onto Triq il-Labour. Continue along this road until you see the entrance to Gardjola Gardens on your right. There is limited parking available near the gardens, so be prepared to walk a short distance if the parking area is full.
Public Transportation
To reach Safe Haven Gardens via public transport, start by finding the nearest bus stop in Vittoriosa. Take the bus heading towards Senglea (Isla). Make sure to check the bus schedule for the exact times. Once you arrive at Senglea, alight at the stop closest to Gardjola Gardens. From there, walk towards Triq Sant' Anna, then turn left onto Triq il-Labour. After a short walk, you will arrive at the entrance to Gardjola Gardens. The bus fare is generally around €1.50-€2.00, depending on the time of day.
Walking
If you are already in the Three Cities area, walking to Safe Haven Gardens is a pleasant option. From the center of Vittoriosa, head towards the waterfront and follow the promenade towards Senglea. Enjoy the scenic views as you walk along the coast. Upon reaching Senglea, make your way to Triq Sant' Anna and then turn left onto Triq il-Labour. The entrance to Gardjola Gardens will be on your right. The walk should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.
