Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Valletta's main bus terminus, head south on Triq ir-Repubblika. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the Upper Barracca Gardens. Enjoy the view and continue walking towards the entrance of the Grandmaster's Palace, which is located just a short walk from the gardens. The entrance to the Grandmaster Palace Courtyard is on the left side of the Palace.

    From St. John's Co-Cathedral, exit onto Triq San Gwann and turn left. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Triq ir-Repubblika. Turn right and walk along this street for approximately 300 meters. You will find the Grandmaster Palace on your left side. The entrance to the courtyard is accessible through the main entrance.

    If you are near the National Museum of Archaeology, exit the museum and head towards the main thoroughfare, Triq ir-Repubblika. Turn right and walk straight for around 400 meters. The Grandmaster's Palace will be on your left. Enter through the main gates to access the courtyard.
