Getting There

  • Bus

    From Valletta, head to the Valletta Bus Terminal, which is located just outside the City Gate. Look for buses heading towards St. Paul's Bay or specifically route 203. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'San Pawl il-Baħar' stop. Once you disembark, walk down Triq it-Trunciera for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Malta National Aquarium on your right.

  • Ferry and Bus

    Take the ferry from Valletta to Sliema (the ferry terminal is near the City Gate). Once in Sliema, head to the Sliema Ferries bus stop and catch bus 212 towards St. Paul's Bay. After about 35 minutes, get off at the 'San Pawl il-Baħar' stop. From there, walk down Triq it-Trunciera for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Malta National Aquarium.

  • Walking

    If you're up for a walk and the weather is nice, you can walk from Valletta to St. Paul's Bay. Start by heading north towards the coast along the Valletta waterfront. Follow the promenade until you reach St. Julian's, then continue along the coast towards St. Paul's Bay. This walk will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach St. Paul's Bay, head to Triq it-Trunciera, and the Malta National Aquarium will be on your right.
