If you are starting from the Lower Barracca Gardens, exit the gardens and head towards the main road, Triq Sant' Anna. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the junction with Republic Street. Turn right onto Republic Street. Continue walking for about 5 minutes; you will pass by various shops and cafes. St. George's Square will be on your left, marked by the impressive facade of the Grand Master’s Palace.

From the Upper Barracca Gardens, head down the stairs towards the city. At the bottom, turn left onto Triq Sant' Anna and then right onto Republic Street. Walk straight for approximately 10 minutes, and you will arrive at St. George's Square on your left, just past the National Library of Malta.
