To reach St. John's Co-Cathedral from the Upper Barracca Gardens, start by heading down the steps from the gardens towards the main street, Triq Il-Merkanti. Turn right onto Triq Il-Merkanti, and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Triq San Gwann. Turn left onto Triq San Gwann, and continue straight for about 5 minutes. The cathedral will be on your left, identifiable by its imposing facade.

If you’re coming from the Valletta Waterfront, exit the waterfront area and follow the signs towards the city center. Proceed along Triq Sant' Anna, then turn left onto Triq Il-Merkanti. Continue until you reach the intersection with Triq San Gwann. Turn right onto Triq San Gwann, and St. John's Co-Cathedral will be on your left after a short walk.
