Walking
If you are in the Upper Barracca Gardens, exit towards the lift that leads down to the Valletta Waterfront. Once you reach the waterfront, turn left and walk along the promenade until you reach the main square of Valletta. From there, head towards Republic Street and continue walking until you see the signs for St. Paul's Cathedral on your left. The cathedral is located on West Street.

Starting from the main entrance of the National Museum of Archaeology, exit the museum and turn left onto Republic Street. Continue straight until you reach Merchant Street; turn right and walk until you reach St. George's Square. From there, take a left onto West Street, and you will find St. Paul's Cathedral ahead.

If you are near the Triton Fountain, head towards the entrance of the Valletta city gates. Walk through the gates and continue straight along Republic Street. Once you reach the intersection with Merchant Street, turn left and continue straight until you see West Street. Turn right onto West Street, and St. Paul's Cathedral will be on your left.
Public Transport
From the Valletta bus terminal, take any bus that heads towards the Valletta city center. Get off at the last stop, which is right next to the city entrance. From there, walk through the city gates and head straight on Republic Street. Take a left on Merchant Street, then another left onto West Street. St. Paul's Cathedral will be on your left.
