    If you are starting from the Upper Barracca Gardens, head down the steps towards the Valletta Waterfront. Once you reach the waterfront, turn left and walk along the promenade until you reach the end. Continue walking straight, following the signs for Birgu. After about 15 minutes, you will arrive at the entrance of Birgu. From here, follow the main road (Triq Il-Kottonera) and keep an eye out for Notre Dame Gate on your right.

    Starting from the Parliament Building in Valletta, exit and walk towards the Triton Fountain. From the fountain, take the main road (Triq Sant'Anna) leading out of Valletta. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of Birgu. Once in Birgu, follow the main road (Triq Il-Kottonera), and you will see Notre Dame Gate on your right after approximately 10 minutes.

    If you are at the National Museum of Archaeology, exit the museum and walk towards Republic Street. Turn left and continue walking straight until you reach the end of the street. At the end, turn right onto Triq San Ġwann and follow it until you reach the entrance of Birgu. From there, follow the main road (Triq Il-Kottonera) to find Notre Dame Gate on your right after about 5 minutes of walking.
