From Mellieha, head to the nearest bus stop located on Triq Marfa. Take bus number 41 or 42 towards Valletta. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop for 'Mdina'. Once you disembark, walk towards the entrance of Mdina, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs to the city gate, then continue straight until you reach Triq San Pawl, where St. Paul's Cathedral is located.

If you prefer to walk from Mellieha, start at the Mellieha Parish Church and head south on Triq il-Kbira. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Triq Marfa. Turn right onto Triq Marfa and follow the road until you reach the bus stop. From there, you can catch a bus to Mdina as described above. Alternatively, you can walk directly to Mdina, which is roughly a 1.5-hour walk through scenic countryside.
