If you're driving, head towards Valletta from the Western District. Take the main road (Triq il-Kanun) heading towards the city. Follow signs for Valletta, and park at one of the public car parks available, such as the 'Park and Ride' facility near the entrance to the city. From the parking area, it's about a 10-minute walk to the Grandmaster Palace Courtyard. Walk through the main entrance of Valletta and follow the signs towards the Palace.

Take a bus from the Western District towards Valletta. Buses 31, 32, 133, and 134 frequently run from various points in the Western District to Valletta. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times. Once you arrive at the main bus terminal in Valletta, exit the terminal and walk towards the city center. The Grandmaster Palace Courtyard is a short 5-7 minute walk from the bus terminal. Head towards the main square and follow the signs to the Palace.
