Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Wied il-Ghasri to ALS Gozo Castle, start by heading northeast on Triq il-Wied towards the main road. Turn right onto Triq l-Għasri and continue until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq Sant' Anton. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Triq il-Knisja and turn left. Follow this road until you arrive at Victoria. Once in Victoria, follow the signs for the Citadel, which is located in the center of the town. There is limited parking available near the Citadel, so be prepared to walk a short distance to your destination.

• Public Transportation

  To reach ALS Gozo Castle using public transportation, start at the nearest bus stop in Wied il-Ghasri. Take the bus number 301 or 302 towards Victoria. The journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Victoria bus terminal, exit the bus and follow the signs towards the Citadel. It’s a short walk uphill, approximately 10-15 minutes. Be sure to check the local bus schedules for the most accurate times and any potential costs, which are typically around €1.50 for a one-way trip.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk from Wied il-Ghasri to ALS Gozo Castle, head northeast on Triq il-Wied, then follow Triq l-Għasri until you reach the main road. From there, you can follow the path leading to Victoria. The walk will take around 1 to 1.5 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water. The route is scenic but be cautious of traffic on the main roads.
