Start from the centre of Xaghra, near the Xaghra Parish Church. Head south on Triq il-Knisja towards Triq il-Mithna. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Triq il-Qortin. Turn left onto Triq il-Qortin and walk towards the village of Rabat. Once you reach the main road (Triq il-Kwartier San Martin), turn right and follow the road. This will lead you towards the Cittadella Walkway. Keep walking straight until you see signs for the Cittadella. The entrance to the walkway is near the Cittadella, which is located at the address 26WQ+QH4, Triq il-Kwartier San Martin, Ir-Rabat Għawdex.

From Xaghra, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Triq il-Knisja. Take the bus that goes towards Victoria (the capital city). The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive in Victoria, get off at the bus stop near the Cittadella. Follow the signs to the Cittadella Walkway, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
