Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Xaghra, start at the Xaghra Parish Church. Head south on Triq il-Knisja towards Triq il-Lunzjata. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Triq San Girgor. Turn left onto Triq San Girgor and follow the road as it curves. After approximately 1 km, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the right fork onto Triq il-Qbajjar. Continue walking for about 700 meters until you reach the junction with Triq Dwejra. Turn left onto Triq Dwejra. Dwejra Tower will be on your left after a short walk. The tower is located on a hill with a clear view of the surrounding area.

    If you are near the Ġgantija Temples, exit the site and head towards the main road (Triq Ġgantija). Turn right and follow the road until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Triq il-Knisja and follow the directions from the previous guidance. After turning onto Triq Dwejra, Dwejra Tower will be on your left.

    From the Xaghra main bus stop, head south on Triq il-Knisja towards Triq il-Lunzjata. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Triq San Girgor. Turn left and follow the road as it curves. After the fork, take the right fork onto Triq il-Qbajjar and then turn left onto Triq Dwejra. Dwejra Tower will be on your left. This route is approximately 1.5 km and should take around 20-25 minutes to walk.
