Walking
Starting from the center of Xewkija, head towards the main square (Pjazza San Ġorġ). From the square, take the road that leads to the south, following the signs towards Gharb. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the first exit onto Triq it-Tigrija. Keep walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left path (Triq il-Wied) which will lead you towards Wied il-Mielaħ. Follow this road and you will notice it leads downhill towards the valley. As you approach, look for the signs indicating the viewpoint for Wied il-Mielaħ. The walk should take approximately 25-30 minutes.

From Xewkija, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the main square (Pjazza San Ġorġ). Take bus number 41 or 42 towards Gharb. After about 10 minutes, disembark at the stop named 'Gharb' (it will be the main stop in Gharb). From the bus stop, walk towards Triq il-Wied, heading downhill. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the viewpoint for Wied il-Mielaħ. The bus ride will take around 10 minutes, and the walk from the bus stop to the viewpoint will take approximately 15 minutes.
