To reach Valletta from Zejtun, start by walking to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the Zejtun Square. Once there, take bus route 81 or 82 towards Valletta. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. You will arrive at the Valletta bus terminus, which is right at the entrance of the city. From the bus terminus, walk towards Republic Street, which is a short 5-minute walk away.
Walk
If you prefer walking, you can take a scenic route to Valletta from Zejtun. Begin at the Zejtun Parish Church and head towards Triq il-Kbira, following the signs towards Marsa. Continue walking straight until you reach the coastline at the Marsa waterfront. From here, follow the coastal pathway that leads you directly to Valletta. This walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, but you'll enjoy beautiful views along the way.
Taxi
For a more convenient option, you can hail a taxi from anywhere in Zejtun. Simply ask the driver to take you to Valletta, specifically to Republic Street. The ride should take around 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare beforehand or confirm that the meter is being used.
