Bus
From the center of Annapolis, walk to the nearest bus stop on West Street. Take the 93 or 98 Metrobus heading towards Washington, DC. The ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Get off at the Adams Morgan stop on Columbia Road NW. From there, walk a few blocks to reach your destination in the Adams Morgan neighborhood.
Train
Head to the Annapolis Train Station located at 315 West Street. Board a MARC train (Penn Line) towards Washington, DC. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Union Station in DC, transfer to the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont. Get off at the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan station. Exit the station and walk a short distance to explore Adams Morgan.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the bike-sharing stations in downtown Annapolis. Follow the designated bike lanes to get to the B&A Trail. Once on the trail, head north towards the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. Continue onto the Capital Crescent Trail, which will lead you into Washington, DC. As you approach Adams Morgan, follow signs directing you towards the neighborhood.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, it’s quite a distance but doable. Start at the State House in Annapolis and head northwest towards West Street. Continue to follow West Street until you reach the Bay Ridge Avenue and then take a left onto Route 2. Follow Route 2 until you reach the Anacostia River. Cross the river and navigate towards Adams Morgan, following signs for the neighborhood. This walk will take several hours, so be prepared with water and snacks.
