Getting There

  • Bus

    From downtown Annapolis, walk to the nearest bus stop that serves the 'Annapolis Transit' routes. You can take the Route 70 bus towards 'Eastport'. Get off at the 'Newtown' stop. From there, transfer to the Washington Metrobus Route A2 towards 'Naylor Road Metro Station'. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Anacostia Park' stop. The park entrance will be just a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Bike

    If you're up for a bike ride, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in downtown Annapolis. Head northeast on West Street until you reach the intersection with Route 50. Continue on Route 50, crossing the bridge into Washington, D.C. After crossing, follow the signs for Anacostia Park, which will lead you to Anacostia Drive. The park entrance will be on your right.

  • Walking

    For those who prefer to walk, head towards the Annapolis City Dock area and take the scenic route along the waterfront. Walk towards the Naval Academy Bridge and cross over to Eastport. Keep walking towards the Eastport Shopping Center, then find your way to the bus terminal at the intersection of Bay Ridge Avenue and Forest Drive. From there, take the Metrobus A2 towards 'Naylor Road Metro Station' and disembark at the 'Anacostia Park' stop. The entrance to the park will be a short walk from the bus stop.
