From Historic Triangle, take US-60 W towards Richmond. Merge onto I-64 W and continue for about 35 miles. Take exit 118A to merge onto I-395 N toward Washington. Continue on I-395 N for approximately 3 miles, then take exit 10 toward I-695 E. Merge onto I-695 E, and follow signs for SE/SW Washington. Take exit 3B for 11th St SE, and continue on 11th St SE. Turn right onto Pennsylvania Ave SE, then left onto 8th St SE. Finally, turn right onto Sicard St SE, and the National Museum of the United States Navy will be on your left at 736 Sicard St SE, Washington, DC 20374. Parking may incur a fee depending on where you park.

From Historic Triangle, take a bus or drive to the nearest Metro station (e.g., the Williamsburg Transportation Center). Catch a Greyhound or Megabus to Washington, D.C. Once in DC, board the Metro at the nearest station (such as L'Enfant Plaza). Take the Blue or Yellow Line toward the Pentagon. Transfer to the Orange Line at the Smithsonian station and head towards New Carrollton. Get off at the Navy Yard-Ballpark station. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to the museum. Exit the station and walk north on New Jersey Ave SE, then turn left onto M St SE, and right onto 8th St SE. Finally, turn left onto Sicard St SE, where the museum is located at 736 Sicard St SE, Washington, DC 20374. Be sure to check the Metro schedule and fare prices in advance.
