From downtown Annapolis, head to the nearest bus terminal at 1600 West St. Take the Anne Arundel County Transit Bus (Route 70) towards the New Carrollton Metro Station. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the New Carrollton Metro Station. Transfer to the DC Metro system and take the Orange Line towards Vienna. Change at L'Enfant Plaza for the Blue Line towards Largo Town Center. Disembark at the Foggy Bottom-GWU Station. From there, walk 15 minutes north on 23rd St NW, then turn left onto 17th St NW. Continue walking straight for about 0.2 miles to reach the Charles Sumner School at 1201 17th St NW, Washington, DC 20036.
