Walking
From the Annapolis City Dock, head northeast toward Main Street. Continue along Main Street until you reach the intersection with West Street. Turn left onto West Street and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will see the Maryland State House on your left, which is a notable landmark. Continue straight to stay on West Street until you reach the intersection with Church Circle. Keep going straight through the circle onto State Circle. After passing the gate, take a right onto Duke of Gloucester Street. Walk until you reach the end of the street, and you will find yourself at the intersection with Compromise Street. Take a left onto Compromise Street and walk to the end of the street where it meets the Annapolis Harbor. From there, you can catch a water taxi that will take you to the Washington, DC area. Get off at the nearest dock to the metro station, and then follow the signs to the metro to begin your journey to Washington, DC.
Public Transit
From the City Dock in Annapolis, head to the nearest bus stop at West Street and Main Street. Take the Annapolis Transit bus number 90, which goes to the New Carrollton Metro Station. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the New Carrollton Metro Station, transfer to the Orange Line toward Vienna. Ride the metro for about 30 minutes and then transfer at L'Enfant Plaza to the Yellow Line toward Greenbelt. After another 10 minutes, get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. Finally, transfer to the Red Line toward Glenmont and ride for about 10 minutes until you reach the Dupont Circle Metro Station. From here, it is just a short 10-minute walk to 1711 Massachusetts Ave NW, where Washingtours & Events is located.
