If you're starting from downtown Annapolis, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Annapolis Transit Bus Route 14. Make sure to check the schedule, as the buses run at different times. Once you board the bus, it will take you along the primary routes towards the northern parts of Annapolis. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Governor Ritchie Highway and Route 50. From there, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles north along Governor Ritchie Highway. The Maryland World War II Memorial will be on your left. Keep an eye out for the memorial's distinct features and signs as you approach.

Biking
For those looking to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in downtown Annapolis. Start your ride heading north on West Street, then turn right onto Main Street, which will take you to the waterfront. Follow the waterfront path until you reach the intersection with Route 50. Carefully cross over Route 50 and continue north along Governor Ritchie Highway. The memorial is located about 1.5 miles from the waterfront, on the left side of the highway. Be cautious of traffic as you approach.

If you're walking from downtown Annapolis, start at the City Dock area. Head north on Main Street, which will lead you to West Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 50. You will need to cross Route 50, so use the pedestrian crosswalk and ensure it’s safe to cross. Once across, turn left onto Governor Ritchie Highway and walk about 1.5 miles until you see the Maryland World War II Memorial on your left. This is a scenic walk, and you can enjoy the views along the way.
