The bus will take you directly to the New Carrollton Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Green Line Metro towards Branch Avenue. Get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. Finally, transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington and get off at the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station. The Ellipse is a short walk from there, located just southwest of the White House.
